To celebrate America’s 250th birthday in 2026, the U.S. Mint is unveiling its most exciting coin redesign in 50 years. For one year only, special new designs will appear on circulating dimes, quarters, and half-dollars, each featuring the commemorative dual date “1776–2026” and a unique “250” Liberty Bell privy mark. Highlights include the striking “Emerging Liberty” dime and the historic “Mayflower Compact” quarter, honoring the people, moments, and ideals that shaped our nation. Collectors and history enthusiasts alike will also enjoy limited-edition gold and silver tributes to classic American coin designs.
